Volunteer Recruitment

Hospital Radio - Volunteer BroadcastingLike Music? Can you spare a few hours every week?

HBSA provides the hospital radio service for Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock. We're based in Ayrshire Central Hospital in Irvine and are looking for some new people to help with the service.

We are looking for volunteers to broadcast music-based or chat programmes one morning a week from 10am – noon. We are particularly keen to hear from people who enjoy music such as Scottish, Country or 'Oldies' - anything that people in hospital would enjoy listening to.

No Experience?

Hospital Radio - Volunteer Broadcasting

You don't need any experience, we provide full training but you'll need to be able to spare a few hours every week. The station has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere – so why not try something different? If mornings don't suit, we have other times available. If you've got a little spare time and are interested in voluntary work, then this could be the rewarding role for you!

Download our Application Form & Notes (PDF), call 01294-323200 or text 'join' to 077 567 55 252.

NB: You must be over 18 to apply and unfortunately HBSA cannot accept applications for Work Experience or Placements. All positions are voluntary and Hospital Broadcasting Service Ayrshire is a registered charity (SC017119).
